Wanted you to know that I passed the test this AM, only
missed 4. I think a couple of those were ones that were so poorly
worded that I could not come up with the best" coice from the 4 answers!
Anyway, onward and upwards!

Hi
there I just wanted to tell you guys that I passed the CCB test and wanted to
thank you for your course. It was priceless in my book.
Thanks again
Chris from Rogue River OR
Just
an update to let you know that I passed the test - seventy five correct out
of eighty. The clerk at the CCB office in Salem said that was a great score
and that she can always tell which people were well prepared when they
took the test.
About twenty of the questions were ones I hadn't seen before but because
your course trains people to quickly and accurately locate the needed
information in the book, I didn't have any difficulty in finding the correct
answers. Several other people taking the test at the same time failed to pass
because they ran out of time with too many questions left unanswered.
Knowing how to look things up is the key to passing this test and your course
did a great job of preparing me for that. I never once felt pressed for time
or worried that I wouldn't finish or pass.
I want to add that I really appreciated your willingness to answer
questions or concerns I had as well as being available almost every time I
called you. I will be pleased to recommend your course to anyone who
asks.
Sincerely,
Dan Watkins
P.S. - Feel free to post this on your site if you wish.
Just
wanted to say thanks for your help and input. I took the test a week ago
Saturday. I passed the first try with a
score of 78 out of 80. I missed one accounting question that had to
do with when FICA is paid and one environmental question. I don't know which
one I missed in that category; I thought I had all of them correct.
The test was surprisingly easy, but I probably studied a little bit
obsessively!! I went through the program about 3 times and could pass your
test in about 30 minuets with no mistakes before I tried the state
test.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks and to say I think your course is a
great one. I learned a lot and it made the real test seem pretty easy.
Sincerely, Lance Craft
Your
training does ACCOMPLISH it's purpose. The best part is that it encourages
gaining a knowledge of HOW to find the answers quickly in the
reference, and, in doing so, we become familiar with much of the content. I
had completely read through the manual before inserting your CD. However, I
found that AFTER the course on the CD
I knew MUCH more material than before. And, more importantly, I could look
up most any reference pretty quickly. Thank you. Good job! Just wanted to let
you know, I passed the test; missed two questions out of the 80.
That's over 97%. I might be satisfied with that. hee hee. Next is paying
for all the insurance, then submitting the application. Any suggestions
regarding insurance and bond?
Thanks for all your help.
Steve
I
passed the test. I missed 10. It had a lot to do with all the numbers
in the book. I was able to take my time and look up the majority
of the questions to verify answers and still have 15 minutes left.
Thanks John Wood
I
got 76/80 on the exam! Thanks for a good course.

Sorry
it took so long to get back to you it’s been very busy around here. But I
thought I would let you know that I did pass the test quite easily. So I
would like to thank-you very much for all your help in preparing me and I
would certainly recommend your business to others who wish to tackle this
test.

Just
wanted to let you know that I passed with a 92.5% I missed 6. I also finished
the test in 1.5 hours. Thanks for your assistance. The test was a
breeze just following the CD worked.
I do think your test prepares very well with test question format and
information covered.

I
passed the exam…
Thanks for your help!

Just
wanted to let you know that I passed my G.C. state exam. Thank you so much
for your help. I will have to say that the questions and how they phrase them
is a bit different. Or I should say that quite a few of them I couldn't quite
figure out how to look them up. Even though I studied for a couple of months,
I still had to look up about 70% of the questions. But then
I don't have a photographic memory either. However, I still passed.
Thank you again,
Mark Whitton
I
passed. 72/80! Thanks for the program
I
passed my state exam today at 90% (72/80); I was pleased. Just notes to
thank you both for your extra help with me... especially you, Dan, with the
many problems I had with glitches. I drove down to CCB in Salem in the
afternoon today and am now a
licensed general contractor in Oregon!
You asked for some feedback.
Positives:
* The exam questions were clearly over the content I was prepared
for.
* Preparing with the Contractors Lifeline was very parallel to the exam
format.
* The 2 hour Contractors Lifeline final exam closely paralleled the state
exam.
* I studied a lot, so had to guess really on only
a small handful of questions.
Negatives:
* The state exam took liberties at times rewording or using synonyms
instead of the
actual word.
* Some of the state exam questions were new; not on the Lifeline
training. It took
extra time to look up.
* A few questions I had to guess between two answers because I drew a
blank.
Overall, coupling my independent study with the Lifeline
tutorial, I felt well prepared
and definitely succeeded!
I
thought I would follow-up with you after completing the Oregon Construction
Contractors License test to let you know that everything went well! I
scored 73 out of 80. Thank you very much for your excellent training
materials!

I
just wanted you to know that I took the test today and only missed 3
questions. I still had 35 minutes left when I was done. There was a question about
scaffolding that I still can't find an answer to. It's not in the book under
that subject. Most of the rest of it was fairly straight forward. No real
surprises. I took the test at the Wilsonville test site.
It was fine, nothing special...just adequate.
Thanks,
David Stanley
I just wanted to thank you and Dan for the assistance with my completion of
the Oregon Contractors License Test.
I took my test yesterday and scored 76/80 for a
grade of 95%, with time to spare. Your educational package was a
tremendous aid during my study process. Of
special regard was the "Hints" option on the test panels.
This allowed
me to quickly locate the specific information
within the Oregon Contractor's Reference Manual, rather than wasting
time wading through the Index, Glossary, or Table
of Contents. This was a huge time savings!
Thanks again for your support,
Randy

Just wanted to say thanks for all help in answering my questions over the
last few months...I took the exam last
week and missed 7 so guess I'm on the way!
Thanks again

Just a quick note to let you know that I took the CCB exam and passed with a
score of 76 out of 80 correct. I
missed two on the CCB chapter and one on Lien Law
and one on Contract Law. I wanted also to tell you guys that
your CD was excellent preparation for the
exam. The three chapter summation exams and the final practice exam
covered everything that was asked on the State
Exam and the practice that I got looking answers up in the guide and
then marking the information in the Reference
Manual really made the actual exam seem almost easy (almost)!
Anyway, thanks for all your help. I'll keep
in touch if that's okay because I've got a few questions before I fill in the
license application but at least the hard part's
done...
Sincerely,
James Swann
You asked that if I remembered you that I let you know how my testing went
…
Well I remember you … you were so nice and
helpful … I’d faxed my classroom completion data to you instead of
LCC. You agreed to fax the information over for
me as I did not have a fax machine at home … then you even went
further over and above by putting me into the
system when you found out that LCC was closed for the holiday so
that I could register for my test right away.
Thank you SO much.
I took my test last Saturday … the test was very
difficult … but due to the tips and resources that you sent me I was
very well studied & prepared and I managed to
pass my very first try! ;) I missed 9 questions which the examiner
said was a good score. We’re now beginning our
business plan and starting the process of getting liability insurance
and bonding. We will be attending the Small
Business Fair in Portland this weekend for further help in this
process.
We are excited to start realizing our long
thought out dream.
Thank you for your part in that process!
Flora Bond
Just wanted to let you know I passed my CCB test this weekend; only missed 4
out of 80 questions, for a 95% score.
Your study course was very useful and well done.
Thanks much!

I missed 3 of the 80 for 96%, I'll call you later to make sure I'm sending
you all the required stuff.

I just want to thank you for providing excellent
training materials for the Oregon state contractor's exam. The
materials were thorough, challenging and
effective. The practice questions were pertinent and applicable. I especially
enjoyed the occasional humor to help lighten the
mood and break the monotony of some of the more serious topics
like lien and contract law.
As with any training, results are what really
counts. I am pleased to report that I scored 96% (77 out of 80) on the
exam.
As I proceeded through your course materials
during training, I attached the tabs, highlighted key points, added
comments in the margins, and documented
additional items in the index to assist me during the exam. While taking
the exam, I was able to quickly find any
information needed to answer the questions. Your training materials
contained similar questions in the same format as
the actual exam, so I was well-prepared.
I appreciate your diligence and efforts to
provide such outstanding training materials. You are making a difference
in the world by ensuring that Oregon contractors
become educated and informed of their rights and responsibilities.
That makes Oregon a better place to live and
work.
I sincerely thank you.

Testimonial: Dan and Sonora, I believe, have set up a study system
tool, that seems to steer away from
mindless memorization, and really teaches how to
use the handbook navigation and main point identification. And
the personal support over the phone is above and
beyond! The information I was able to retain..do to the study
course was greatly increased had i just read it.

If only missing 4 questions and doing the test with 30 minutes to spare is
passing...than yes..I will tell you I passed!!
I was pretty stressed today though..big relief!!
thanks for everything...I really learned a lot. I am a young finish
carpenter and furniture builder who is kind of
being forced to take on bigger projects...so this is all
something i haven't really wanted to do...but am
obligated too....and you guys made it easier, thanks!

I TOOK THE "CCB" EXAM LAST FRIDAY IN MEDFORD.I PASSED THE EXAM,
MISSING 8 QUESTIONS
OUT OF THE 80! I WAS HOPING TO DO BETTER THAN
THAT, HOWEVER, THE PROCTOR SAID THAT
WAS A VERY GOOD SCORE.
YOUR STUDY COURSE IS A GOOD ONE, I APPRECIATE ALL
THE HELP.
THANK YOU,
SHARON A STEVENS

I just wanted to let you know that I took the contractors test last thursday,
and passed with 74 ouy of 80 right.
Thanks for your help. I don't recall any
questions directly related to the supplement but it was good to have
anyway, and it's hard to remember too. The
Contractor's Lifeline is the best course I've seen out there. Thanks
again and have a good day.

I just took my state exam last week and passed
with 77 out of 80.I just wanted to say Thank You for an excellent
product!I have friends who are looking into getting
started and I cannot recommend you enough.Anyone who uses
your system, and uses the final exam a couple of
times to make sure they are ready, will no doubt know that book
like the back of their hand.I always strive to
give my customers the very best, and you have done no less for me.
Thanks again,
James Robinson
Been meaning to call and let you know I passed
the first time....so add that to your percentage of passers.
Tell your other students that if they go through
your questions over and over and know the answers they will be
just fine.Your course hit on many many questions
on the test. Only needed to use the glossary and the index- never
even used the table of contents. I found it
helpful to tab the charts for quick reference (license categories,
construction notices, construction lien, etc
(mostly found in appendix sections).
Thanks for a great course.
Sincerely,
LindaWyner
