Live classes are more
productive for many students, but travel time and/or committing an entire
weekend can be very difficult. Money Wise Contractor Education
Co. has the solution! You
can join an on-line live class.
You will need a headset for your computer. Students will be able to communicate with the instructor
and other students. If you are
in a Saturday or Sunday class you will interact with the students in a live
classroom. You will all see the
same information at the same time. For a limited time, if you
purchase a Money Wise home study or already have one you can attend one
2-hour session free. Call for
details!! The On-line class is just
$250.00 How
it works! Students need to pre-register at
least 1 day in advance for the time slots they wish to attend. To complete the program you will need
to attend 8 2-hour sessions, 2 full day sessions or a combination of full day
and 2-hour sessions. The sessions
are set up so you can join at any time. The state exam is open book. This means you need to be able to use
the manual efficiently to find needed information. The Money Wise program teaches you how to enhance your
manual, find key words and use the index to find the needed information
efficiently. Money Wise furnishes Tabs to make the
manual more user friendly. The
training focuses on one chapter at a time. The students are shown a randomly selected question from
an area in the manual where the State exam questions will originate. The questions are written similar to
the questions on the State exam.
Your instructor will read the question outloud. Students are encouraged to pick a key
word from the question. If you
cannot decide on a key word the program will show one possibility 30 seconds
after the question appears. Go
to the index and find the key word and the page number. Go to that page and see if you can
answer the question. Once you
find the answer type it and send it to the instructor. The instructor will check it
and show you if you are correct.
Any student can ask questions or make comments. Highlighting and writing notes in
your manual are encouraged. You
