How the program works |

Insert the
CD into your computer it should self load, if not follow directions on the
packet. In the front
of each chapter is a list of objectives this is what CCB wants you to
know. PSI writes the test questions from these objectives. I have
addressed those objectives so you will learn them and how to find them in the
reference manual. Once you
begin you will see a question appear on your screen. Pick a key word
from the question or answers. If
you ca not determine a key word one will appear in 30 seconds. Go to the index and find the key word
and page number where the information about that key word starts. Click the
answer on your screen and if it is the correct answer or incorrect answer you
will know right away. Use the marker that comes with the program to
highlight the correct answer in your manual for future reference. The amount
of money you earn is shown on the screen. If you do not make enough money you will have to redo the
task If you successfully completed the Task you will see a completion Code,
write it on the Completion Code Card. After every
third chapter is a Phase Closeout. These Closeouts are timed. At
the end there will be the Project Closeout that simulates the state exam:
there are eighty questions, it is open book, you have two hours to complete
it.
Once you
have completed the program and have all of the ‘unique' numbers listed on the
"Completion Code Card", follow the directions on the card.
When I receive your “Project Completion Report”, I will process it, and the
next day you can call PSI and schedule your state exam. |
